3.4 magnitude earthquake recorded in Oman

Muscat: An earthquake has been reported in Masirah in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate on Wednesday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC), at the Sultan Qaboos University.

A statement issued online by the EMC said: "An earthquake in Masirah with a magnitude of 3.4, at 11:23 am MCT and at a depth of 10 km has been recorded. The earthquake was recorded 125 km away from Sur."
