Urgent appeal made for blood donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has appealed to holders of A- blood type to donate blood today urgently at at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

A statement issued online by the DBBS said: "The department appeals to holders of A- blood type to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar, due to the very sharp drop in the stock of this type. We ask you to respond to this urgent humanitarian appeal."
