Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has fixed Ramadan blood donation hours at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.
A statement issued online by DBBS said: "Blood donation hours in Central Blood Bank in Baushar during the month of Ramadan are from 8 am to 12:30 on all the weekdays except Friday and Saturday and from 7 pm to 11:30 pm. The deadline for platelet donations is 10 pm."
"Blood donors who wish to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar during the restriction on movement should follow these steps:
1-Book a blood donation appointment via WhatsApp 94555648.
2-Submit your information along with a copy of your ID card to the same phone number.
3-A copy of the Blood donor permit will be sent to you through through WhatsApp after you confirm the appointment reservation.
4-The original permit will be given to you when reach blood Bank.
