Muscat: The Environment Authority has planned to expand nurseries in various governorates of Oman to provide the saplings required to implement the national initiative to plant 10 million trees.
The Environment Authority said: "Within the framework of efforts to implement the national initiative to plant 10 million trees, the Environment Authority is implementing a plan to expand nurseries in various governorates of the Sultanate to provide saplings required for cultivation operations, several nurseries are maintained and developed in a number of governorates, such as Dhofar, South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, North and South Al Sharqiyah.
