Oman joins International Labour Organisation's Board of Directors
The Sultanate received the second largest percentage of votes among the countries running for the position

Muscat: Oman became a member of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Board of Directors for the period 2021-2024.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Labour said: "The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Labour received a Membership of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Board of Directors for the period 2021-2024 through elections held virtually on the sidelines of the 109th session of the International Labour Conference, where the Sultanate received the second largest percentage of votes among the countries running for the position of an alternate member from the Asia-Pacific region."
