Muscat: Koor Al-Ghaba is one of the most important tourist sites and destinations in South Al Batinah Governorate.
"Koor Al-Ghaba is a mesmerising site which is part of the village of Al Alya in Wadi Bani Kharus, in the Wilayat of Al Awabi in the Governorate of South Al Batinah. It is characterized by its breathtaking location that attracts the onlooker for the first time. The lake has a deep pool of water from which a cascade with white water hangs from atop. Surrounded by some trees adding to the already splendid view," Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.
ONA added that Koor Al-Ghaba is located at the beginning of the estuary of the valleys coming from Al Jabal Al Akhdar, which attracts tourists from within and outside of Oman. The spot is flocked throughout the year by people visiting it for its unique beauty, nature and stunning views.
