Muscat: A shisha cafe in Seeb, that was operating without a licence, has been shut down by municipal authorities in the Sultanate's capital.
In a statement online, Muscat Municipality said, "Muscat Municipality in Seeb, represented by the Health Affairs department in cooperation with the Legal Follow-up Department, closed a shisha cafe because it was carrying out activity without a licence."
Earlier today, the municipality said it had shut down a number of commercial shops and stores in Muscat that were running with expired licences or without a licence at all — including an illegal tailoring business run by expats, who were arrested.
