Eight women arrested for extortion in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested eight women who lured people with the intent to defraud them.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested eight African women who lured people and enticed them by displaying immodest pictures through some social media applications and lured them to their residence to defraud them, steal what they have, and extort them later. The legal procedures are completed against them."
