Three expats arrested in Oman on drug smuggling charges

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested three expats on charges of smuggling, trafficking and promoting narcotic substances.

A statement issued online by the ROP said: "After continuous tracking and monitoring operations, the General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Police Command of Al Buraimi Governorate, arrested three expatriates on charges of smuggling, trafficking in and promoting narcotic substances. Seized from their possession is 10 kilograms of crystal drug. The case is under process."
