OCCI offers exemption on payment of renewal fee

Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), has extended the exemption granted to members for paying renewal fees.

A statement issued online by the OCCI, said: "The Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry approved the extension of the exemption under the current circumstances that the private sector is going through and in response to the requests of a number of business owners in the Sultanate. The extension is approved as follows:

 1- 100 per cent exemption from paying late fees due before 1st January 2019.

 2- Pay the renewal fees for the full year of 2019.

 3- The exemption period will continue until the end of work on Thursday, December 31, 2020
