COVID-19: MOH to resume announcement of newly registered cases

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) in Oman will be resuming the announcement of newly registered COVID-19 cases starting from Wednesday, 5th August.

Last week, the Ministry of Health had announced that it will be temporarily suspending the announcement of newly registered COVID-19 cases during the Eid period starting from 31st July to 4th August 2020.

A statement issued online by MOH on 29th July said, ”The Ministry will be temporarily suspending the announcement of newly registered COVID-19 from Friday, 31dt July to Tuesday, 4th August and will resume the announcements from Wednesday, 5th August 2020.”
