Muscat: Water trucks and cooking gas trucks will be allowed to pass through and move during lockdown period without requiring transit permits, the Oman News Agency announced.
In order to ensure the continuity of the availability of basic services and products, the concerned authorities have decided to allow trucks that meet the following conditions:
The movement between governorates will be permitted 24 hours for trucks weighing 3 tons or more that transport various types of cargo. These can ply without obtaining transit permits, with the condition that the truck driver only be present in the vehicle without any escort.
Movement within the governorate will be allowed all 24 hours for water tanker trucks and cooking gas trucks.
