Foreign Minister takes part in GCC-Russia meeting

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister took part in the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC countries and the Russian Federation yesterday.
The virtual meeting was held on the sidelines of the 75th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nayef Falah Al Hajraf, GCC Secretary-General and a number of GCC ministers and undersecretaries, in addition to Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The meeting dealt with ties between the GCC and the Russian Federation and ways to develop them. Views were exchanged on regional and international issues, as well as issues of common interest.
