Muscat: The average population density in the Sultanate has increased in 2019 by 0.1 per cent compared to 2018.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "The average population density in the Sultanate increased in 2019 by 0.1%, recording 14.9 people per square kilometre compared to 2018, when the average population density was 14.8 people per square kilometre, according to the data revealed in the statistical yearbook issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI)."
