Two health centres in Dhofar shut down: MOH

Muscat: Salalah Health Center and Al Dahariz Health Center in Dhofar governorate have closed due to the tropical situation from 29th May until further notice, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced.

A statement issued online by MOH said: "The public directorate of health services in Dhofar governorate announced that Salalah Health Center and Al Dahariz Health Center have closed due to the climatic conditions that the governorate passes from Friday on May 29, 2020, to another notice.

"Due to the climatic conditions that Dhofar Governorate is going through, which may hinder dialysis patients from reaching the main dialysis unit at Sultan Qaboos Hospital The General Directorate of Health Services in Dhofar Governorate also announced the operation of the dialysis Unit at Taqah Hospital starting from Saturday on May 30, 2020," the statement added.
