Muscat: Muscat Governorate reports 98 new cases of coronavirus today, followed by North Al Batinah governorate with 31 new cases, according to the Ministry of Health app Tarassud.
The Sultanate registered 157 new cases of coronavirus today with total of 5186 cases, 1465 recoveries and 22 deaths.
Out of the total number of 3929 cases, 2445 of them are registered in Mutrah and 658 cases in wilayat of Seeb, 680 in wilayat of Boushar and 112 in Al Amirat, 27 cases in wilayat of Muscat and 7 cases in wilayat of Quriyat. Muscat governorate record 18 cases of deaths and 720 recovery among the cases.
North Al Batinah Governorate registered 31 new cases , including 17 new cases in wilayat of Suwaiq, 10 new cases in wilayat of Sohar, 2 new cases in wilayat of Shinas and 1 new case for each wilayats of Liwa and Al Khaburah. North Al Batinah recorded 125 recovery and one death.
South Al Batinah governorate registered 12 new cases , including 6 new cases in wilayat of Burka, 3 new cases in wilayat of Rustaq, 2 new cases in wilayat of Masnaah and one new case in wilayat of Nakhal. South Al Batinah governorates recorded 235 recoveries and 3 deaths.
Al Dakhiliyah Governorate registered 6 new cases among 233 cases. The number of cases in South Al Sharqiyah governorate reached 201 cases, 39 cases in North Al Sharqiyah governorate, 52 cases in Buraimi governorate, 67 caes in Al Dhahirah governorate and 20 confirmed infections in Dhofar governorate.
Al Wusta governorate still free of coronavirus cases and Musandam Governorate records the lowest cases of infection, with only one patient and five recovery cases.
