Coronavirus: Government advises these measures while shopping in Oman

Muscat: The Government Communication Center (GC), has announced important measures that should be followed to prevent spread of coronavirus during shopping.

A statement issued online by the GC said:

1-Make sure to wash or sterilise your hands before entering the shopping center.

2-Don't take family members, especially children and the elderly.

3-Prepare your shopping list in advance.

4-It is preferred to use your own shopping bags.

5-Avoid touching objects that you do not need.

6-Make sure that the shopping cart is sterilized.

7-Use electronic payment.

8-Make sure not to shop at peak times when the shopping center is crowded.

9-Keep safe distance of at least 2 meters between you and others.

10-Clean your shoes with diluted chlorine or bleach by adding 10 to 15 ml of bleach to a litre of water and then spray it on the surfaces you need to sterilize and clean.

11-Make sure to wash your hands very well with soap and water and change your clothes.

12-When you go back home take out the items from bags and dispose the bags directly by throwing them into the trash.
