The Royal Oman Police announced the arrest of an expat suspected for the murder of a citizen in south Al Sharqiyah governorate as well as on charges of wounding a woman.
The police confirmed that legal procedures against him are underway.
The ROP confirmed on Sunday that a murder had occurred in wilayat Masirah, in Al Sharqiyah, after news was reported on social media.
The arrest of the murderer took place within about 24 hours, as the police reported the murder on Sunday and announced the arrest of the killer at 12 noon the same day.
