Kuwait has announced a partial curfew to control the spread of COVID-19, the Kuwait News Agency announced.
The agency reported that the partial curfew decision came as a result of the lack of commitment by some to avoid gathering in groups.
"The ministry will create a page on the Ministry’s website to submit requests for exemption from the curfew for humanitarian cases for citizens and residents to go to hospitals and health centers." – Minister of Interior, Kuwait
He stated that the Ministry will implement the law strictly and track every violation of the curfew decision.
The Kuwaiti Civil Defense Law stipulates a punishment of three years imprisonment and a fine of 10,000 KD for violations.
