28 workers deported for violating labour law

Muscat: Inspection teams arrested 35 workers for violating labour laws in North Al Sharqiyah Governorates.

The Ministry of Manpower said in a statement: "The joint inspection team at the General Directorate of Manpower in North Al Sharqiyah implemented an inspection campaign from March 1 to 7, 2020 which resulted in the arrest of 35 violating workers and the deportation of 28 workers in order to implement provisions of the labour law within the framework of labor market regulation."
