Video: Oman to get its first zoological park soon

Muscat: The Ministry of Tourism said on Monday that work on the first zoological park in Oman is on track.
“The work on Adam Safari Park in the Wilayat of Adam is progressing well and is 60 per cent complete,” it said.
The statement issued by the Ministry of Tourism comes following questions by locals on social media regarding the progress of the park. As a result, the ministry issued a statement on various projects, which were previously announced.

“Hawana Aqua Park was opened within the project of the integrated tourism complex Salalah project,” added the ministry.
The ministry also announced the progress of Hay Al Sharq project. “Asaas is currently implementing the Hay Al Sharq project in the Wilayat of Barka. The project will include water and electrical games, a wildlife area and an equestrian centre.”
“Leisure and entertainment projects will also be implemented at Muscat Mall in Al Mabela and Mall of Oman in Bausher. The project at Muscat Mall will include an entertainment city, an ice village and the Oman Aquarium,” it added.
