'Omani students in Australia evacuated to safer areas'

Muscat: Omani students in Australia have been asked to take caution of forest fires in Victoria State.

According to the Consulate General of Oman in Australia, “The Consulate General appeals to all students studying in Victoria State in Australia, to be careful and stay away from all areas that are affected by forest fires, as well as to stay away from areas at risk of fires, while adhering to all instructions issued by the official authorities in the state.”

The Consulate General also confirmed that all Omani students in Australia are fine and well. The students were evacuated and moved to safer areas.
