Muscat: Two people, suffering from medical conditions have been evacuated by the Royal Air Force of Oman.
According to the Ministry of Defence, “One of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out, yesterday morning, a medical evacuation of a citizen suffering from a critical health condition. She was transferred from the Khuriya Muriya Islands to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate.”
The Ministry, on the second evacuation, said, “Yesterday evening, a medical evacuation of a resident from the Republic of India was carried out by helicopter, where he was transferred from Masirah Hospital to Sur Hospital in the Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate to receive necessary treatment.”
The Ministry said that these evacuations come because of the humanitarian services provided by the Sultan of Oman's Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense to citizens and residents in Oman along with other government institutions.
