Over 600 expat workers deported from Oman

Muscat: Facing action for violation of labour laws 644 expat workers have been deported, Oman’s Ministry of Manpower has announced.

A joint inspection team, during inspections between 1 and 20 December this year, arrested the expat workers for various violations. The inspections aimed to regulate the labour market.

“The Ministry confirms that 644 violating workforce were deported,” an online statement by the Ministry said.
