Omani students in Australia asked to take caution

Muscat: Omani students studying in the state of New South Wales in Australia have been asked to take caution in the wake of forest fires.

The Consulate General of Oman in Australia has issued a statement online asking students to be safe and adhere to instructions issued by the officials of the state.

“The Consulate General calls upon all students seeking scholarships to study in the state of New South Wales, Australia, to exercise caution and stay away from all areas affected by forest fires, as well as to stay away from areas at risk of fires, while adhering to all instructions issued by the official authorities in the state,” officials from the Consulate General of Oman in Australia said.

The Consulate also appealed to all students to communicate with the specialists of the Consulate General in emergency cases.
