Staycation best option for all during the extended weekend in Oman

MUSCAT: Weekends in Oman are a blessing that should be taken advantage of after a long work week, but getting an extra day off makes it even better.
With Thursday, May 5 having been officially declared a holiday to celebrate Isra-wal-Meraj, many can take advantage of this weekend for a ‘staycation’ instead of an actual vacation.

The weather is amazing during the day and night,” said an Omani local, who wished to remain anonymous.
“I encourage everyone to go out in nature, away from the city, and take in some fresh air. It will help you relax,” he added.
