Oman weather: Clean up begins as floodwater recedes

Muscat: With flood waters receding, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) has taken up the massive task of clearing public places filled with slush left behind due to the indirect impact of Cyclone Kyarr.

PACDA has also asked citizens and residents in South Sharqiah governorate to be cautious as most of the the wadis are overflowing due to heavy rainfall.

“PACA calls people and residents to take safety measures to protect their lives,” the statement added.
