SAI Chairman receives South Korean ambassador

Muscat: The Chairman of the State Audit Institution (SAI), Sheikh Nasser bin Hilal Al Mawali, received Kim Chang-Kyu, the appointed South Korean ambassador to Oman, at SAI’s headquarters in Al Bustan.

The Chairman welcomed the Korean envoy and commenced talks highlighting mutual interests, the close relationships connecting the two countries as well as the multi-faceted cooperation between them.

The ambassador also delivered a written communication from the Chairman of the Korean Board of Audit and Inspection (BAI) that stressed on strengthening cooperation between the two institutions.

He also highlighted the contributions and benefits that can be gained as a result of the two countries membership in regional and international organisations relevant to the auditing field, namely the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).
