Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a visit to the Gulf Cooperation Council region from 23 to 25 August.
This was revealed by the country’s Ministry of External Affairs.
During his time in the Middle East, Modi will first visit the United Arab Emirates on 23 August, before then travelling to Bahrain a day later.
"During his visit, the Prime Minister will receive the Order of Zayed, the highest civil decoration of the UAE, which was announced earlier in April 2019, in recognition of the Prime Minister giving a big boost to bilateral relations between the two countries." - TS Tirumurthi, the Ministry of External Affairs’ Secretary of Economic Relations
