Muscat: There has been no report of a fire breaking out at the China Center in Al Hail, according to the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance.
An official from the authority told Times of Oman: "There have been no reports of a fire in that area yesterday, and PACDA has not sent out units to combat fires at the China Centre.
"As far as we know, the China Centre in Al Hail has not had any incidents and is fine," he added.
According to the official, a video that has been circulated on social media depicts an earlier fire that had broken out at the China Centre in Sohar on February 22, 2019.
PACDA said at the time that two people of Asian nationalities had been injured in that fire.
