​Muscat Festival to be shut for one day

Muscat: The organising committee of Muscat Festival has decided to shut the festival’s sites today (February 4) keeping in mind visitors’ safety, officials announced.

This decision was made due to the weather conditions in Oman.

In a statement online, Oman TV News said, “Due to the weather in the Sultanate, and based on the meteorological forecast, and to maintain the safety of visitors, it was decided to shut the festival’s sites and stop activities on February 4, 2019."
