New shift timings for ROP services during Ramadan

Muscat: People hoping to use Royal Oman Police’s passport service, as well as civil status services will need to adhere to new the Ramadan timings for these services.

Royal Oman Police officers will be working in the shift from 8:30 am to 1 pm, while police departments will follow two work shifts from 8:30am to 5pm.
According to an announcement by the ROP, “Official working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan 1440 AH for different ROP formations that follow the system of official working hours will be from 8:30am to 1:00pm.
Two-shift
“As for the departments providing services in areas of Passport and Residence, Civil Status and Traffic, which follow the two-shift system, working hours will be from 8:30am to 5:00pm,” added the statement.
