These colleges in Oman to remain closed due to bad weather

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos University, Sohar and Nizwa universities and all colleges of applied sciences will be closed on Sunday.

The Ministry of Higher Education has announced that all colleges of applied sciences will be closed on April 14, due to the weather condition.

The decision applies to colleges of applied sciences and Rustaq College of Education. The ministry did not disclose whether this decision will include all private and public universities.

"In order to ensure the safety of our students, the ministry announces the suspension of classes tomorrow Sunday, April 14, 2019, for students in all colleges of applied science and the college Education in Rustaq, with the exception of Salalah college. The study in colleges will resume from Monday,[ April 13]."

Sultan Qaboos University and the universities of Nizwa and Sohar have already announced the suspension of their classes until Monday.
