Fire breaks out at furniture store in Oman

Muscat: A fire broke out at a furniture store in Wilayat Barkha on Thursday, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and the fire was subsequently extinguished. No injuries were reported.

In a statement, PACDA said: "The Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Northern Batinah managed to extinguish a fire that broke out in one of the shops that sells furniture in Wilayat Barkha, without recording any injuries."
