Hail has fallen in these parts of Oman

Weather update: Low-pressure to bring more rains to Oman
Muscat: Some wilayats of the Sultanate witnessed falling hail stones on Saturday evening, whereas the northern governorate of Oman witnessed heavy rain accompanied by thunder.

Residents of Wilayat Yanqul of Al Dhahirah governorate posted many pictures of hailstones gathered from houses and other places in the Wilayat.

Oman Meteorology said in a statement online, "The flow of clouds continues across most of the Sultanate's governorates with a chance of isolated rainfall on the coasts of North and South Al Batinah Governorates and parts of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah."

According to Authority's statement, "The weather analysis in the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre indicates that the Sultanate is affected by a trough of low pressure from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th March 2019."
