MUSCAT: Most parts of Oman will continue to experience cloudy skies and rain until Sunday, March 24, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation has said.
Isolated rain and occasional thundershowers are expected to continue in the governorates of Muscat, Northern and Southern Batinah, Buraimi, Al Dhahira, Al Dakhiliyah, Northern and South Shaqiyah and Musandam.
In a statement, the meteorology authority said, "The weather analysis in the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre indicates that the Sultanate is affected by a trough of low pressure from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th March 2019,"
"According to the latest weather outputs, the weather will continue being partly cloudy to cloudy over governorates of Musandam, AL Burainimi, Al Dhahirah, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah and South Al Sharqiyah with chances of isolated rain and occasional thundershowers," added PACA.
The Public Authority for Civil Aviation advise everyone to take care during rain, not cross wadis and to check the sea conditions before sailing.
