Oman, Italy discuss relations, regional and global issues

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry yesterday received Elisabetta Belloni, Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The meeting touched on relations of the existing friendship and cooperation between the Sultanate and Italy in various fields.
The meeting also touched on the keenness of the two countries to continue their support for encouraging the development of the economic partnership, cultural and knowledge exchange for further growth and benefit of the two countries’ brotherly peoples.
The meeting also exchanged viewpoints on several regional and international issues and developments.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Yahya bin Abdullah Al Fannah Al Araimi, Head of Economic Affairs Sector, Khalid bin Hashel Al Meselhi, Head of the Secretary General Office Department, Sheikh Dr. Badr bin Mohammed Al Hinai, Head of West Europe Department, Federica Favi, Italian Ambassador appointed to the Sultanate and officials from both sides.
