Missing Omani's body found in well

Muscat: A person who was reported missing has been found dead in a well, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance has announced.

According to authorities, the body found in Wilayat Yanqul belongs to an Omani citizen, who fell into the well.

No further details about the deceased were released by authorities.

In an online statement, PACDA said: "The rescue team from the department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Al Dhairah responded to a missing persons report. He was found deceased as a result of falling into a well in Wilayat Yanqul.”
