A total of 330 expats were arrested for violating the Labour Law and another 339 deported in one week, Oman's Ministry of Manpower revealed.
The workers were arrested between February 17 and 23, 2019.
The arrested included 207 runaway workers, 88 undocumented workers and 25 violators who were referred to the ministry by other bodies.
Muscat, the capital, recorded the highest number of arrests with 64 followed by Nothern Batinah Governorate with 62.
