ROP make two arrests in Dhofar

Muscat: Police arrested one expat on charges of attempted murder and another for selling alcohol in Dhofar governorate.

The Department of Criminal Investigation, led by Dhofar Governorate police in cooperation with Salalah police station, arrested an accused of Asian nationality on charges of attempted murder.

A spokesman at the Royal Oman Police said: "the criminal had stabbed the victim at their residence house in Wilayat of Salalah as a result of a financial dispute."

In a different case, the report added that the Department of Criminal Investigation, "managed to arrest suspects of Asian nationality on the charge of possession of alcoholic beverages to trade."
