Arab free trade zone, food security discussed at regional summit

Beirut: Deliberations of the 4th Arab Economic Summit, hosted by Lebanon, began in here yesterday.
The Sultanate’s delegation to the summit is being led by His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan. The summit discusses several files, mostly economic, including the Arab free trade zone, Arab food security and strategies of the sustainable energy.
These files are development initiatives and projects that target the Arab human through investment, and achieving peace and prosperity.
