Citizen arrested for hit and run accident in Oman

Muscat: An Omani driver who fled the scene of an accident in Sohar after colliding with four other vehicles has been arrested, according to Royal Oman Police (ROP).
Police said in an online statement, "Sohar police station, led by the North Batinah Governorate police, arrested a driver who escaped from the site of and accident after colliding with other four vehicles in Sohar."
ROP added that legal proceedings are being taken against the offender.
