Cricket: Bosher Olympic Centre return after successful tour of UAE

MUSCAT: The Bosher Olympic Centre (BOC) junior and senior cricket teams returned home after a successful tour of the United Arab Emirates.
The teams toured the UAE from December 24, 2018 to January 1, 2019, during which they trained and played matches in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.
The teams played as many as 10 matches against different clubs from Sharjah, and Dubai in which one of them was the UAE U-19 National Team.
The BOC U-13 and BOC-U-19 teams played five matches each. All the touring players got tremendous exposure and experience of playing in different conditions in the UAE and most of the matches were played under floodlights with U-13 playing 25 overs and U-19 playing 40 overs formats on turf wickets.
The players benefitted from this experience when they returned to their respective league engagements in Oman.
At the end of the tour, Shreya Dhuri was adjudged the Best Player where as Tanush Pathak received the Man of the Series in the U-13 category and Aditya Gurumukhi won the Man of the Series in the U-19 category.
