Expats jailed, fined for human trafficking and kidnapping

A number of expats have been jailed and fined over human trafficking and kidnapping charges, Oman's Public Prosecution revealed.
According to officials, the accused kidnapped the victim and forced her into prostitution.
"The Criminal Court in Salalah sentenced a number of expats to seven years in prison each, and were fined OMR10,000 each. The defendants kidnapped and trafficked the expat woman, and forced her into prostitution to make money." - Public Prosecution
