Haya Water obtains ISO 55001 Certificate

Muscat: Haya Water received the International Certificate of Asset Management System (ISO 55001) which is considered to be an international recognition that the company obtained due to its pursuit of high quality standards in the assets management field.
Eng. Hussain bin Hassan AbdulHussain, Haya Water’s CEO said that the company received this certificate in addition to other international certificates including, ISO 9001 certificate for the implementation of highest international quality standards in the fields of planning, implementation, management, operation and maintenance of wastewater and treated effluent assets. The company also obtained ISO 17025 certificate for the enforcement of quality management standards at Haya Water central laboratory. The company has also acquired ISO 14001 certificate on environmental systems management and OHSAS 18001 certificate for occupational health and safety management at the workplace.
Those certificates indicate that all the company’s work is done on the certain rules and regulations to increase the different operations efficiency and to provide the best services to Haya Water customers.
AbdulHussain added that this recognition comes as a translation of the company’s main objectives to make Oman greener and healthier by upgrading the management systems used to enhance the environmental and health level of all citizens and residents in the Sultanate.
The Assets Management System work to manage risks and the cost related to the operation and maintenance of assets in an organised and efficient manner that supports continuous improvement and increases the assets management value.
