A’Seeb Club win His Majesty’s Cup for Youth, Al Ittifaq Club come second

Muscat: The Ministry of Sports Affairs (MoSA) yesterday announced the results of His Majesty’s Cup for Youth, 2017 at a ceremony organised at the Grand Hyatt Hotel under the patronage of Dr. Rashid bin Safi Al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board, in the presence of Sheikh Sa’ad bin Mohammed Al Mardhof Al Sa’adi, Minister of Sports Affairs.
A’Seeb Club won His Majesty’s Cup for Youth, 2017 after winning first place and a cash prize of OMR30,000, Al Ittifaq Club won the Golden Shield and a cash prize of OMR28,000 after coming second, and the Silver Shield with OMR26,000 went to Quriyat Club, which came third.
“We are pleased to celebrate today the results of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Cup for Youth, 2017, which comes within the framework of the royal care and attention accorded by His Majesty the Sultan for the youth,” said Sheikh Sa’ad bin Mohammed Al Mardhof Al Sa’adi, Minister of Sports Affairs. He added: “This important competition has an effective influence and role in the promotion of youth activities. It is also an incentive for clubs to exert more efforts to win the honor of winning this precious trophy.”
