Non-oil jobs to drive Oman forward

A total of 500,000 jobs in the tourism sector and 300,000 in the logistics sector could be available by 2040.
Speaking at the National Programme for Enhancing Economic Diversification (Tanfeedh) press conference, officials outlined the overall goal of sectors.
It included mining, energy, tourism, employment and logistic services.
Officials said that the Ministry is planning on increasing the number of jobs in the sector, in addition to increasing the value of investment to OMR19 billion.
