Nearly 150 illegal expat workers arrested

A total of 147 expat workers were arrested in Muscat Governorate.
It was done after they were found violating the Labour and Residence Law, the Ministry of Manpower revealed.
"The ministry and police force carried out an inspection campaign on some houses and farms in Wilayat of Seeb that resulted in the arrest of 147 workers, and legal proceedings are underway." – Ministry of Manpower
