No radiation threat to people in Oman

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs has affirmed that people in Oman are safe from the threats of radiation.
It comes after they verified a study that reported high concentration of radiation in certain areas of the Sultanate.
According to officials, the ministry’s specialists found that the radiations are way below the international safety levels and that there is no need to worry.
“According to the Ministry, the research was based on the idea of showcasing the higher concentration of radiation in the samples collected. However, it did not mention the minimum concentration as well as the average concentrations of the samples." - Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs
