Muscat: Two restaurants were shut down in Muttrah today (November 29) by authorities after Muscat Municipality conducted inspections at 36 restaurants in the area on Thursday.
A statement by the municipality read, "An early morning inspection was carried today over 36 restaurants in Muttrah, which resulted in the destruction of 70 kg of materials, as well as the municipality seizing 160 tools, writing 15 fines and 14 proofs of disposal, as well as closing down two establishments."
